Alexandria University Council during its session on Tuesday, 27 December 2016, headed by the Rector Prof. Dr. Essam El Kurdi approed the promotion of 19 member of the teaching staff; 8 to Professor Degree and 11 to the degree of assistant professor. The Council also adopted the appointment of 18 Lecturers and conferred 67 PhD and 119 master degrees in various scientific disciplines.
