Alexandria University President Dr. Essam El-Kurdi emphasized AU concern on supporting the African students to study in university branches in Africa. He indicated that AU receives students from many African countries to study in Alexandria or in university branches in the Chadian capital N'Djamena and in South Sudan, in addition to cooperation agreements with several African universities.

This came during receiving the students of the faculties of Veterinary Medicine and Agriculture in AU branch in N'Djamena for three weeks training course in Alexandria.

AU Deputy for Education and Students Affairs Dr. Hisham Gaber declared that the training course for Chadian students represents university intention

to acquire Chadian branch students scientific skills and on job experience in their disciplines as the training is addressed in the faculties of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine while accommodation is in university cities free of charge. He revealed that the program is including mutual activities between African and Egyptian students to exchange experience and skills.

At the end, the Chadian students thanked AU leaders and all attendants for the great efforts they do to promote the higher education and scientific research in Africa
